After his father’s death, Tanjirou Kamado supports his family in a remote mountain home. One night, he learns of flesh eating demons, and the next day returns to find his family slaughtered only his sister Nezuko survives, transformed into a demon. Driven by rage and love, Tanjirou vows to protect Nezuko and avenge his family, joining the Demon Slayer Corps to fight demons and preserve his sister’s humanity.
