Six months after his friend Hikaru returns from a mysterious disappearance, Yoshiki realizes the person who came back isn’t truly him. When “Hikaru” reveals his monstrous form and pleads for secrecy, Yoshiki agrees, unable to let go of his friend. Though the creature shows childlike curiosity about human life, a dark, supernatural presence looms over the village threatening to consume them both.
