In 12th-century Japan, swordsman Kurou and his servant Benkei seek refuge with the immortal vampire Kuromitsu. Falling in love, Kurou becomes a vampire to stay by her side only to be betrayed and decapitated. Awakening in a ruined future, he embarks on a relentless quest to reunite with her and avenge his past.
