On the Tower’s 20th floor, most Regulars give up under brutal exams but Ja Wangnan refuses. Weak and in debt, he meets the formidable Jyu Viole Grace. To survive and advance, Wangnan must forge alliances and persuade Viole to join him, or his dream of climbing the Tower may end.
